Qingdao in China will host the upcoming WMD-2017 this October 25 to 27. The three day event will bring together people in the MICE industry from around the globe: as exhibitors to showcase their products; attendees for business-to-business meetings and visitors to view the latest in the MICE business. Also included are training sessions, conference and forums on key topics and subject on MICE.
Hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Qingdao Sub-Council and organised by BIT Congress Inc, the show is initiated by the World Conference Organizer Alliance (WCOA). It is estimated that there will be over 150 exhibitors, 400 overseas and domestic hosted buyers with 2,000 participants attending the show.
Qingdao is chosen to host the WMD-2017, as one of the most famous tourist cities in China, and is also a major seaport and industrial centre of China. One of the city’s attractions is Qingdao has one of world's longest sea bridges, the Jiaozhou Bay Bridge that links the main urban area of Qingdao with Huangdao district, straddling the Jiaozhou Bay sea areas. It is also known for its beautiful scenery, pleasant weather and is one of China’s most livable cities.
World Conference Organizer Alliance (WCOA) is a non-governmental and not-for-profit international conference cooperation alliance which was established in January 7, 2017 in Dalian, China. Members of the alliance comprise of conference planner, country convention bureaus, governmental organisations, companies and international industrial volunteer social groups.
